The Spectrum of Safeguarding

This is an important concept that we will keep returning to throughout the course so please take the time to watch this video and make sure that you understand it.

In the “Spectrum Of Safeguarding” video, we talked about the fact that if children with additional needs are not supported, there is a risk that they will experience poor long term outcomes. This can seem strange at first, however, there is strong research evidence to support the claim.
