New to the Designated Safeguarding role?

Taking on the DSL role in your organisation can be quite daunting, you may not know where to start. We have just the course for you.

This course consists of one online learning module and then a face to face online zoom session.

The face to face training helps to embed the learning from the online module using case study scenarios, discussion and activities.

As a DSL you must be able to understand :

• Safeguarding and abuse,
• how to respond appropriately to concerns of allegations of abuse
• how to support staff and volunteers in the discharge of their duties,
• how to work confidently and competently with local statutory services,
• the importance of effective systems,
• the importance of culture managing concerns and referrals etc
