Current Issues and Risks

Children and young people today face many risks to their safety and wellbeing. In this section, we will examine some of these, but they are constantly changing and it is important to keep our knowledge of these risks up-to-date.

There are some particularly useful resources. The NSPCC produce a report every 2 years entitled “How safe are our children”. This gives a very useful summary of key themes from their research. It can be found at: How safe are our children? 2020 | NSPCC Learning
