The Safeguarding Children’s Board

• Responsible for coordinating and ensuring the effectiveness for all safeguarding activity in Leicestershire
• Informs social policy and procedures
• Sets local safeguarding priorities and conduct SCR’s

Children’s Social Care

• Deals with a concern about a child

Designated Safeguarding Lead (LADO)

• Deals with allegations about a member of staff
