Domestic Abuse Awareness
Welcome to this e-Learning module where we hope you will learn more about domestic abuse and how we can support children affected by it.

This course is designed to help you understand some of the issues faced by families where there is domestic abuse present.
We hope that this course raises your awareness about domestic abuse and its impact on victims, so it is really important that although the issues are really sensitive, and very complex, as child care providers, we have a statutory duty via your designated safeguarding lead to report to children’s social care where domestic abuse is present in a home where children live.
Please do look after yourself whilst you take this course and if you need to, take a break and re visit the course at a time of your own choosing.
