Advice Support and Guidance

We can offer you advice support and guidance on any issues that may be concerning you. For a more complex issue that is beyond any telephone support , a cost may be involved. We can happily advise you of the next steps including the costing up the work for our fees for consultancy. You will then be able to decide if you wish to proceed. 

NB. Whilst we are able to discuss matters that are concerning for you, its really important, if its a safeguarding issue that you don’t delay reporting your concerns. If you do have concerns about a child, or young person, you should report your concern to either the Police or your Local Authority. They are the agencies who have the statutory duty in investigating your concerns if social care thresholds are met.

Paul’s expertise has been in a LADO Team within a Local Authority. His responsibility was managing allegations and responding to them. We have an understanding as to how difficult this can be for organisations . We are also able to signpost you to HR support and consultancy services 

An allegation against a member of staff or a volunteer is always to be referred to the Allegations Manager or the Designated Officer in your Local Authority (LADO). You are able to do this through your Local Authority’s website or on your Local Safeguarding Partnership’s procedures page.  If you are an educational setting then Ofsted must be informed
